Macush, I’ll use barbecue analogy to explain. Getting it from Connie is like the raw steak that needs cooking, while getting it from Elly is like a little “black powder” thrown on top of the grille (attractive only due to the noise, doesn’t cook it any).
In all the years of reading FBOFW, including the interminable lunches with Connie, I cannot ever remember a time that this usually excellent strip was ever this boring for this long a time.
Excellent strips have something for every one. Just not always all at once! This one is funny because we can all see ourselves or someone we know in it- gossip was commented on by St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians over 2000 years ago.
