Why does Mike have to dream himself a free trip to Paris. After all, he has stock in a fantastic IPO. Borrow against them, buy a personal jet, and go to Paris to really impress Kim.
It would be interesting if it turned out that the past decades with Kim were a continuation of this summer daydream. Maybe Mike is really a strung-out heroin user who retreated from reality after his divorce and subsequent dumping by Kim.
