Facebook, where you can go from cute cats to faithful friends to fantastic floral displays to perplexingly pious propaganda…all in one short scroll.

Depending on Facebook for your daily news feed is a lot like reading the NATIONAL ENQUIRER or watching FAUX never close to the News for that purpose. Welcome to the twilight zones of American society.

I have never been on FB. I didn’t see the need to give a Harvard dropout my data so that he could get rich.

Part of the problem is people spreading misinformation on facebook, but equally problematic are people who read it and don’t verify it or challenge it.

Sleepy Joe just issued an executive order saying all Facebook users must wear masks when on the internet. He also defunded Delta Force as a precaution.

Sooner or later the Feds will be forced to crack down on all social media since it’s become a primary source of misinformation, outright lies, and anti govt. propaganda.

Friends and family seem to have become a secondary function.

Remember when the only thing Facebook was good for: posting pictures of what you had for lunch.. It was just ridiculous then. Now it’s evil.

I use FB every day, mostly to keep track of friends’ activity, relatives’ posts and groups either doing non-political, well moderated humor and information. I occasionally see a whacko post, and usually report it to the admins of the pages I use.

I see that in the spirit of the toon, Zom is vomiting (no better word for it) misinformation. He needs some greens from his garden, I think.

I abandoned “Facebook” right after the 2016 national election when Zuckerberg and his crew proved that they were willing “dupes” of the Russian attempt to subvert our election ( they willingly accepted anti-Hillary screeds that were even paid for in Rubles – in case you’re curious no American media source is legally allowed to accept and publish ANY foreign-sources political campaign ads – ever!

Time to revoke their corporate charter, seize their assets and turn it into a not-for-profit organisation. Same for Shitter, OOPS! I mean Twitter (but not really)….
