It isn’t a one piece sculpture.

One case where an unfortunate event is literally carved in stone. I call today’s strip, “Bad owner”.

Awwwwww. That puppy is a good boi.

I can think of several ways this could have been a lot more droll.

Bad dog bad dog-Watcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you…

Reminds me when my dog was mad at me she would turn her face away.

One that big I would call “Bada$$ Dog”…

Then why isn’t there a newspaper on the table?

Oh, poor doggy. This one’s really a very good dog. He even gets along with the cat, remember? But, the artist is painting all dogs with the same brush. Any dog that holds still long enough to be a sculptor’s model is a very good dog indeed.

I see no indication of any bad thing the dog has done. This must be one of Steve Martin’s contributions.

How much is that doggie in the studio?

The puppy looks like he’s a good boy ;-)

And the poor model is traumatized for life.
