Happy birthday? My mom made us a cherry chip cake when we were 7 or 8. My sister spent years looking for a boxed cherry chip cake and was going crazy cuz she couldn’t find it. Finally she asked my mom where she got it. Mom told her to use a white cake mix and chop up maraschino cherries and mix them in. LOL! The look on my sister’s face was priceless!
