Glad I’m not alone. That jingle gave me an earworm I couldn’t shake for days. When I hear even the slightest opening of it I mute TV or radio. It makes me want to donate a car with a tire that has a slow leak.

Can’t wait to see Herr Gropingfuror’s reaction when he’s subpoened to testify before the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 insurrection. Will he refuse to appear and be indicted?

I’m not going to feed the troll, but I see that Patrick Murphy (who has posted blatantly racist and misogynistic posts in the past) is calling Rad-ish, of all people, a troll! Rad-ish posts honest and intelligent posts, with links to news articles. I mean NEWS, not the propaganda of Rupert Murdoch’s outfit or OAN or the National Enquirer, or mens’ room walls, or wherever the hell the members of the Trump cult get their “information.”

By the way, Traitor Trump’s chances of being “re-instated” in August is exactly the same as his chances of climbing Mount Everest in August. And IF the bi-partisan committee approaches its sacred task correctly, Trump will be subpoenaed and commit perjury with his first sentence fragment. (By the way, I call it bi-partisan because there are two Republicans on the committee, and would be more if McCarthy hadn’t nominated two co-conspirators with Trump to sit on the committee in an attempt to derail it.)

Some people believe that the higher one’s authority, the less responsibility or accountability they have… at least if that authoritarian is doing what they like…

A couple days ago, a right-wing oafish cartooning colleague of mine tweeted that comparisons between Donald Trump sending his white nationalist terrorists to attack the Capitol in order to overturn a democratically-held election to install him as a fascist dictator and Charles Manson sending his followers to murder nine people, was wrong.

The usual suspects jump to mind: Branco, Garrison, Lester, Kelly, Varvel, Payne…. Those all meet the criteria of “…right-wing oafish cartooning colleague of mine….”

However he then puts in “tweeted”.

Which does narrow down the field. Twitter is too technologically advanced for (my own opinion) Lester and Benson. Gorrell probably knows “how to work the twitter machine” but Clay lists this oaf as making comparisons- which is WAY more work than Gorrell can handle. The oaf isn’t described as making a car analogy to Payne is out. I could see Ramirez figuring out how to post on twitter and type out complete sentences while still getting reality wrong. Branco and Garrison are forms of the abyss I won’t look into so my knowledge is lacking there. Varvel, Kelly, and Bok give me the impression that they could get on twitter to say “BUY MY STUFF!” then get lost trying to retweet something and lock out their account.
