Give Payne a break. Watching the police testimony on the 6 January beer hall putsch jangled whatever part of his body it is that he uses for thinking to such an extent that this cartoon is the best he can do.

About the only thing I would agree with is why don’t electric cars generate their own power? Besides when braking? 4 wheels could turn generators that could at the very least extend driving range, if not charge the entire vehicle at no cost. Oh, right, someone else has to make money providing energy.

What has BLM got to do with masks?

The BLM rioters were anarchists or opportunists and those incidents were in a few locations like Portland. For the regular marching protests, there were times when tear gas and rubber bullets were used by the police on marchers when a curfew was put into place and the protesters ignored the demand to depart. There is no more proof that the Proud Boys and White Supremacists were behind the agitation, than there is that it was BLM who stormed the Capitol. Both sides have their extremists and nothing will ever be accomplished as long as we all ignore and enable the extremists on our side and focus only on condemning the extremists on the other side. Especially if everybody on the side we disagree with is painted with the same brush as the extremists.
