I don’t know how Hobbes can take the heat with all that fur. At least Calvin can shed some clothing or at least wear lighter clothing when it gets hot.

It’s enough humid!

Wet is even worse than humid, most times…

Well technically the hottest days in October are at the first of the month. Rarely is Halloween the hottest day.

I’m with Hobbes in reference to humid days…particularly since I wear glasses…

It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.

There were two ‘hills’ we could go sledding on, but only one close enough to walk to and it ended in a creek. The other one was a pasture with a barbed wire fence at the bottom.

I believed that until I moved to Arizona in the early ’70s. 105 or 110 degrees is hot regardless of the humidity.

the cool water will be a welcome relief from the humidity.
