We’ve never had a former president insist that he won the election when he did not. His speech in Arizona was for his partisans only, it wasn’t meant to persuade anyone who doesn’t already agree with his view of reality. It was awash in conspiracy theories. Trump’s main message is “politics is war and the enemy cheats.” That claim informs Trump’s whole view of politics, including his election conspiracy claims. Trump’s “pretender to the presidency” speech was dangerously anti-democratic.

This was very sad yesterday. Today it is terrifying.

Could you do a dream sequence with rump facing the nation and saying – Yes I regret all the disinformation I stowed on the american people; I do regret lying and planning and executing a riot to keep me in office when I actually lost the election. I regret killing all those people over the vaccines lies. I don’t want history to judge me the buffoon and I will cooperate with all the investigations that are bringing to light all my misdeeds and I’m sorry what role I played in the death of Jeffrey Epstein. And I will provide evidence of my collusion with Russia and other enemies of the US to line my own pockets. And show Melania holding a ‘my pillow’ over its face in bed as he is talking in his sleep.

Also where were the secret service agents all this time while he was meeting and talking on the phone betraying the constitution and the USA. Dont they have an oath to honor and to protect the country when a madman is in that office?
