If the latest CDC guidelines are to be believed, for the first time in human history, we can transmit a disease we don’t have to those who are immunized against it. 8^ )

That does beat many an employee.

We often discover a school bus driver is out when parents call wondering why we didn’t call to let them know it would be late.

I worked at a bar in the 70’s where if one missed three shifts without being in the obits or police report then they had given their notice.

This is never gonna end till everyone is vaccinated. The worst part is the mutated Lambda is vaccine resistant. Who knows what further variants will be like. FL and TX are trying hard to find out!

The same with assisted living, except you have to open every day – employee calls or not.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t seems to have become the de rigueur these days in regards to getting the COVID vaccine .

My observation is that currently the real scientists are spending more time fending off stupidity than doing actual science. And this is not just in the pandemic domain.

I worked at a local grocery/department store chain many years ago and due to my work ethic I always made sure that I was always there early for every shift that I was scheduled to work and called in if I was sick. The store had a contract with the employees that included scheduled raises but left them with the option to give employees an early raise if they felt it was justified. At one point I was surprised to notice that I received one of those merit raises several months ahead of my scheduled raise because to my mind I wasn’t doing anything special to deserve it. I thanked the general manager for the raise and he said, “You deserved it, you’re always here when you’re suppose to be and you’re always on time.” I walked away thinking, that’s just good work ethics, what is everyone else doing if management thinks that deserves a raise?

    Those are good “Old School” work ethics! Today’s work ethics are not really ethical! :o{

Believing you don’t have it doesn’t mean you don’t have it. Like Typhoid Mary….

As long as you are fully vaccinated, you may get sick. I had a break through case, lasted 4 pretty bad days, 10 total not feeling great, then weak for about 10 more. But, I am 77. Guess what it would have done to me without the vaccine. According to my doctor, I was just as capable of spreading covid as I would have been without the vaccine. I had it, totally, the vaccine just prevented it from destroying me, not anyone I might come in contact with. Masks for the vaccinated aren’t to protect yourself, it’s to prevent the disease from spreading to the unvaccinated who then become mobile petri dishes to incubate the next versions of the virus—- until we get the omega version.

I hate Corona. Tell the world I do. I hate Corona tell the world I do. Every day I pray that it will soon be through.

Corona, Corona. Corona, Corona. Corona, Corona, I hate you so.

Oh, little virus why’re you staying so long? Oh, little virus why’re you staying so long? Every day I pray that you’ll soon be gone.

Corona, Corona. Corona, Corona. Corona, Corona. I hate you so.

I will send Corona way across the sea. Oh me, I will send Corona way across the sea. If you see Corinna send her way from me.

Corona, Corona, Corona, Corona. Corona, Corona. I hate you so.

    Apologies to Ray Peterson.

Sadly those who Don’t want the vaccination for whatever reason, are playing Russian roulette w/ Covid & Delta …which is their choice. As for myself if a business requires a mask..no problem; But I will not wear a mask ..if I’m walking outside in the fresh air by myself.

In 31 years I was only out 6 days for sickness. .If I needed time off, I was honest and said why I need it and got it.

I’m with Gene. The creators of this plandemic didn’t give any thought of the long term effects. Take out enough of the work force with Unemployment checks to upset production in all phases of business, give the entire population stimulus checks to increase demands on businesses, businesses have to overwork the remaining workers to keep up with increased demands, these workers get fed up and more quit their jobs. Of course the media is blaming it all on the businesses.
