In the children’s game “Simon Says,” the leader, “Simon,” stands up in front of the crowd and says “Simon says do this,” and then performs an action. Children who do not follow the action are “out.” Likewise if the leader doesn’t say “Simon says,” and does an action, children who do the action are “out.”

Republicans held off telling people to get vaccinated to make Biden’s “numbers” look bad. With the GOP it’s all about ratings. OK, so some people died and hospitalizations are up, but it was worth it. Joe missed his 4th of July goal so they won! That’s what really mattered.

Now that their “numbers” are looking bad, they have changed their tune and telling people to get vaccinated. I give them credit, although they didn’t admit that they were wrong for the past 18 months, they at least are no longer “doubling down” on the lies.

The problems is that nobody is following them. They didn’t say the “magic words” – “Trump says do this.”

Don’t they realize that they are powerless to do anything without the approval of Trump?

Trump got his vaccine early but kept it from his followers, is much of the problem. His heard was kept in the dark.

Does anyone think that people (children included) liked wearing gas masks in London in World War 2? No they did not but it saved lives.
