Fox News’ Tucker Carlson secretly cheered Biden when he told Trump to ‘shut up’ at debate: book

“Others in Trump’s orbit reached out to Tucker Carlson to talk to Trump,” reported Bender. "Carlson had been blunt in his assessment of Trump’s performance—he thought the president came off as unappealing and rude.

“When Biden told him to shut up, I agreed with him!” Carlson said according to the book. Carlson had no interest in talking to Trump. He’d done it once before and wasn’t about to do it again.

It didn’t matter, Trump picked up the phone to call Carlson himself. Sitting in the oval office with aides surrounding him, Trump called Carlson on his cell phone but the Fox host sent it to voicemail. Trump called it again, this time giving it one ring before Trump was denied.

He finally got through by an aide reaching out to Carlson’s producer.

“Everyone says I did a good job,” the book cites Trump saying.

“I don’t know who told you that was good,” Carlson said. “It was not good.”

“Trump was taken aback,” Bender writes. “Carlson told Trump it had been a mistake to spend so much time ahead of the debate describing Biden as senile. The Democratic nominee had easily cleared that bar.”

Here’s the REAL Reason FOX News Racist Tucker Carlson is Smearing a January 6th Capitol Police Hero!

Carlson was focused solely on his ultra-partisan obsession with slandering Democrats and any unfortunate who happened to be in line of fire. He said (video below)…

“So the Committee will proceed with one party. What will it look like. Well, think MSNBC with subpoena power.

“On Tuesday Pelosi will call a Capitol police officer called Harry Dunn. Dunn will pretend to speak for the country’s law enforcement community. But it turns out Dunn has very little in common with your average cop. Dunn is an angry left-wing political activist whose social media feeds are full of praise, not coincidentally, for Nancy Pelosi. Here’s a picture of the two of them together.

“‘Racism is so American,’ Harry wrote in one post, ‘that when you protest it, people think you are protesting America.’ Hashtag ‘Leave it to whites to tell blacks what is racist,’ hashtag ‘I stand with Ilhan Omar,’ hashtag ‘Squad.’ Harry Dunn, ladies and gentlemen. Just another fact-based witness to the insurrection.”Where upon Carlson introduced his guest, Jim Jordan. Carlson’s rant presents a dumpster of derp that requires some further exploration.

When even that piece of dung Hannity tells you to get the shots you’d think that might indicate that they were lying all along. The network that absolutely told you that no person should ever consider them a reliable source of news and information, and whose owner even calls it an entertainment network, would lie, would feed you fake news and information?

So even that is fake news!?!?

No, you idiots – The virus is real. It can kill you. And those you care about (if you even have that capacity). And the vaccines work. And they’re safe (and you freakin’ dipsticks, if they were not safe then why do you think all your idols – every single on of them – would have been scrambling so darned hard to get them months ahead of everybody else?). Jumpin’ Jesus on a Pogo Stick, you guys have been morons and suckers so very long, are y’all ever gonna get wise to the fact that the Turd Reich has been sellin’ y’all a bill of goods ever since day 1?

Do Fox News viewers think Tucker Carlson tells them the truth?

    Are they, in fact, reasonable?

The federal judge, Mary Kay Vyskocil, who herself was appointed to the federal bench by Trump nine months ago, dismissed the case, citing Carlson’s First Amendment protections.

That is, Vyskocil bought the argument Fox News was pushing that Carlson is, first and foremost, not a provider of “the news” as we know it, or “facts” as we commonly understand them, and his audience knows this.

They’re apparently in on the gag.

    Fox News doesn’t label Carlson’s speech parody because that’s embarrassing for a company with the word news in its name to admit;

…it’s not factual journalism because that implies some responsibility for the credibility of the information that you spew.

Instead, Fox News lawyers claim, Carlson is not “stating actual facts” but simply engaging in “non-literal commentary.”

I couldn’t have described Carlson or Fox News better myself.

    From Vyskocil’s opinion:

[In] the context of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the Court finds that Mr. Carlson’s invocation of “extortion” against Ms. McDougal is nonactionable hyperbole, intended to frame the debate in the guest commentator segment that followed Mr. Carlson’s soliloquy.

As Defendant notes, Mr. Carlson himself aims to “challenge political correctness and media bias.”

This “general tenor” of the show should then inform a viewer that he is not “stating actual facts” about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in “exaggeration” and “non-literal commentary.”

… Given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer ‘arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism’ …

    .

In other words, “any reasonable viewer” doesn’t actually believe what Tucker Carlson is saying to be true.

It is therefore unreasonable to take what Tucker Carlson says as truth.

The perfect example of the left wanting to silence all who have different opinions. If you disagree with them or do not buy into their diatribe, they will silence you. Seems to happen here quite a few times. We don’t like your comments or disagree with you, so……..you are flagged. The liberal solution.

NO, do not tell me to “look it up myself,” as it is you that must prove the accusations you claim. It is not for me to attempt to disprove something you failed to post.

When Ftucker wants to spread lies, he’s walking that fine line between “Freedom of Speech”, and “Creating a Public Hazard”. “Freedom of Speech” is guaranteed in the Constitution, but you DO NOT have the right to yell “Fire!!” in a crowded Theater. What he is doing by his LIES AND DELIBERATE MISINFORMATION is the moral equivalent of Creating that theater panic, since he WILL KILL PEOPLE with what he says.

The anti-vaxxers are not new, of course, but they suddently grew in numbers due to the lies and nonsense from the trump lovers and faux news mongers.

Here is a TED talk by a pediatrician.

    https://www.ted.com/talks/ofer_levy_the_new_science_of_personalized_vaccines

    I love the great line:

    What do vaccinations cause?

    Adults.

Why, because diseases requiring vaccination have generally killed infants and youg children (and the elderly). The good doctor explains it for you.

BTW the talk explains why some vaccinations must be repeated. We don’t know yet about Covid-19 and its variants, but boosters may be required down the road.

    From Nature:

How Delta achieves its ultrafast spread

Since first appearing in India in late 2020, the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 has become the predominant strain in much of the world. Researchers might now know why Delta has been so successful: people infected with it produce far more virus than do those infected with the original version of SARS-CoV-2, making it very easy to spread. A study of some of the first people in China to be infected with Delta showed that their viral load — a measure of the density of viral particles in the body — was roughly 1,000 times higher than in people infected with the original coronavirus strain.

1000 times! Yipes! Keep wearing your masks folks!

Oh and for the idiots who say masks do no good — how was your flu season last year? Really awful, wasn’t it? /end sarc

The masking, the hand sanitizers, the social distancing, are effective at cutting down the transmission of the virus. With the delta variant producing a much heavier viral load, you need to do everything to reduce the transmission that you can.

Conservative panics after the Pentagon dunks on Fox News personality Tucker Carlson

The United States military is livid after Fox News personality Tucker Carlson attacked female service members.

“So we’ve got new hairstyles and maternity flight suits. Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. It’s a mockery of the U.S. Military. While China’s military becomes more masculine as it’s assembled the world’s largest navy, our military needs to become as Joe Biden says more feminine, whatever feminine means anymore since men and women no longer exist. The bottom line is it’s out of control, and the Pentagon is going along with this,” Carlson said.

The Pentagon put out a press release under the headline, “Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That Dissed Diversity in U.S. Military.”

“The United States military is the greatest the world has ever seen because of its diversity, Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby said during a news briefing this morning. Kirby addressed this because a Fox cable show host used his show to denigrate the contributions of women in the military and to say the Chinese military is catching up to the U.S. military because it does not allow women to serve in the percentage the United States does,” the Pentagon wrote.

‘You falsely smeared by wife’: Eric Swalwell reveals furious text exchange with Tucker Carlson

“Tucker, I’m hesitant to do that. You falsely smeared my wife on Tuesday and she’s getting death threats,” said Swalwell, referring to a retracted Fox News story alleging that Swalwell’s campaign funneled money to a business employing his wife. “That’s way out of bounds.
