My wife and daughters think that roughing it means waiting 30 minutes for room service rather than feeding a hungry jagdstaffel of hungry mosquitoes. And I like to hike the Pacific Coast Trail or the Appalachian Trail. One year when we went to Yosemite they stayed at the Awahnee Hotel and I camped in the valley and would visit for dinner. They did like the photos I took and I enjoyed the meals at the hotel.

We live in Florida, bugs are common down here, so no problem. You camp during the winter here.
