Actually, this is the way republicans “roll” these days – they don’t wish to appear ‘insensitive’ to their base’s concerns, but since their base’s only concern is that whites are losing relevance here in America and they obviously can’t say that, they must take up other ridiculous causes to rail against, and hope their base recognizes the underlying message of white supremacy embedded there.
I had to do a double take before I realized it wasn’t about voting. I guess it’s just the standard republican response, and they complain about cancel culture.
