I wanted to watch the sunrise to the east this morning, but all I saw was mist. Oh, well…that makes it special when I do get to see the sunrise over the mountains. There’s no one here as I type this….so, looking at the B&E comic, I am guessing that Jeff’s lady wants a hairbrush, but he brings her a broom! Is “Jeff” The B (Benitin) in the strip above? (I have forgotten which is B and which is E).
I saw about 53 degrees this morning (cool man). They say a chance of a couple of showers this morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon. (^.^)
I hadn’t heard anything about the Orleans County Fair till recently, it’s really late this year, September 8, well, Caledonia County Fair was at the time Orleans usually is. We’re all messed up. All the usual things going on, live stock, milking parlor and 4H, horse and ox pulling, the midway, Floral Hall and on the Grand Stand, truck and tractor pulling, stage shows and the Demolition Derby on Sunday. I’d rather see an auto thrill show.
OK, I now embark upon my busy day of going for the mail, out to the Quick Stop and back home again. (eh)
not much going on today. i was hoping to get caught up on making some ‘freezer food’. i’ve been out of my refried beans for a while. you just can’t have mexican food without them. I add chorizo and extra pepper flakes.
Another beautiful day in the Ozarks. It was 64 when I got up and started my day, so we opened up the house again for some fresh air. Right now it is 79 and our high is supposed to be 86. A nice fall day. I will be leaving soon to meet a friend for lunch. Wow, I live a boring life. :-D. That seems to be it for me today.
