Getting everyone vaccinated would be an excellent start. Followed by getting any necessary booster shots. Making sure everyone in the world has access to a vaccine and boosters. Then, only then, we might actually start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, that’s not a freight train.
As long as there are large numbers of deniers who don’t do anything to prevent the spread, the pandemic will continue. Despite what S2UB says, germs don’t care whether you believe in them or not.
This expresses the way I feel. One variant after another is hitting us in the gut, and because my vaccine doesn’t protect me 100%, I still feel like I have to be careful because of all the un-vaccinated people. The other day, someone asked my husband why he was still wearing a mask, and he said, “You don’t know my wife, do you?”
But COVID (and its spin-offs) will remain. It’ll be part of life(!)
Some people won’t get vaccinated and will die. (Probably)
Some people who are infected by people who won’t get vaccinated will die. (Probably)
All people who don’t die will get used to getting a COVID vaccine. (Most Assuredly)
Like they are used to tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccines, polio vaccine (IPV), hepatitis A vaccine, rabies vaccine, varicella vaccine (chicken pox), and most influenza vaccines.
All people will die, anyway.
Some people would prefer not to die early, and horribly – alone and gasping for each breath.
Like that lady who doesn’t need to get vaccinated because she’s “bathed in the blood of Jesus.”

Pastor prays for mercy after COVID outbreak at masks-optional summer camp: ’Lord, we didn’t want to be in the news’
The pastor of a Texas church publicly prayed for God to end COVID-19 after at least 125 children and adults contracted the virus at a student ministry camp, where masks reportedly were optional and most children were old enough to be vaccinated.
