Father Joe was a n elderly priest in San Diego where Breen is based who ministered to the homeless right up to his very recent death. Apparently a lovely and beloved fellow.
Father Joe Carroll started and ran services for the homeless in San Diego. He fed thousands of people daily, provided shelter, a school for the kids, sports, including an entire gym, and education. He was a San Diego icon on TV and ran countless ads promoting his cause. He was a tireless hardworking Priest our City was lucky to have. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on in the huge downtown complex he built for the homeless.

It seems as if he knew what Jesus would do and did it.

Christians feeding the hungry? Housing the homeless? Where will it all end? Socialism? Communism? Why aren’t they fretting about abortion?/S
