’That’s what crazy dictators do’: Trump slammed for allegedly demanding execution of leaker who made him look bad
According to an excerpt from a new book from the Wall Street Journal’s Michael Bender, former president Donald Trump flew into a rage after it was leaked that he fled to a secure White House bunker as protests mounted outside over the murder of George Floyd by a white cop.
Bender reported Trump held a tense meeting where he demanded high-ranking members find the leaker before blurting, “Whoever did that, they should be charged with treason! They should be executed!”
Critics of the president reacted on Twitter with both disgust and — in some cases a lack of surprise the former president would act like a dictator and seek retribution against anyone who dared to make him look weak.
As one commenter succinctly put it: “That’s what crazy dictators do.”

Trump is living ‘in the land of absurdity’ and Giuliani is always drunk: Michael Wolff
“Rudy or the president, in my opinion, neither are in control of their faculties,” Wolff told CNN’s New Day on Tuesday morning in an interview about his new book, “Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency.”
Wolff recounted how when he went to Mar-a-Lago to interview Trump for the book, he decided to accept the former president’s false claims of election fraud as a premise, so that he wouldn’t get cut off. However, when he asked the former president to explain how the election was stolen, “He was entirely unable to do this.”
Biden Turns Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ Against GOP In Call For Voting Rights Legislation
The president pointed out that many of the bills in statehouses restricting voting have used as justification Trump’s debunked claims of a “rigged election.”
No other election has ever been held under such scrutiny or such high standards,” he said in a speech in Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center, amid an exhibit titled “Civil War and Reconstruction.”
“The big lie is just that: a big lie,” Biden continued.
The address was scheduled in part to allay concerns from voting rights advocates that he and his White House are not doing enough to push federal legislation.
Biden said the 2020 election “should be celebrated, an example of America at its best.”
“But instead, we continue to see an example of human nature at its worst: something darker and more sinister,” he said. “In America, if you lose, you accept the results. You follow the Constitution, you try again. You don’t call facts fake and then try to bring down the American experiment just because you’re unhappy. That’s not statesmanship. That’s selfishness. That’s not democracy, that’s the denial of the right to vote.”
Trump, who tried to overthrow American democracy in an attempt to hang onto power despite his election loss, issued a statement attacking Biden hours before the speech, repeating a number of his election lies and tossing in new ones.
Fortunately not in our world, just one of the worlds next door. By 2023 things are very bad for the USA. Mini-civil wars started by Pres. Trump in 2021 Red on Blue and the soft breakaway of 26 states to get off the Federal life-line or as they call it, “dole” to show they can go it alone their way. Trump has aided this as he can. Telling his Red-hat brigades to cause a ruckus even to shooting people. But then this horror show is a fiction in our world…
Banker found guilty of bribery for Manafort bank loans in chase for Trump administration job
A former Chicago bank executive was found guilty Tuesday of charges alleging he conspired with onetime Donald Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort to exchange risky bank loans for a high-ranking position in the presidential administration.
Stephen Calk, the former chairman and CEO of The Federal Savings Bank, was found guilty of one count of financial institution bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit financial institution bribery. The charges carry 30 and 5-year maximum prison sentences, respectively.
Calk was ultimately never offered nor accepted any positions within the administration and the bank incurred a multimillion-dollar loss when Manafort defaulted on the loans.
