Wow! Now I know why Pastis made Rat President.

Since Galileo, the heliocentric solar system model replaced the geocentric theory (not all of a sudden, I’m sure there were there were a group of medieval miscreants yelling “fake news” for a while). Until I was born…and now the sun and stars revolve around me.

This explains why a lot of people don’t give a rat’s @$$ about geology.

As far as I can tell, the universe extends the same distance from me in every direction. I may be mistaken about this, but, so far, no-one has been able to show otherwise. This is a pretty good reason for thinking that I am the centre of the universe.

I think there’s a gyroscope at the center of the earth.

Rat identifies himself as someone who knows more science than scientists.

And it’s solid, unlike the outer core, which is liquid.
