Nice image. Very nice. Although REAL dice always have opposite faces that add to 7, so the 2 and the 5 cannot be adjacent. And I have no idea what adds to the skull and X-bones to make 7.
There’s an article in today’s L.A. Times about “Long COVID”. It seems that it’s possible that COVID causes Erectile Disfunction in some cases. Sounds like an example of Natural Selection in action.
Would it be tasteless of me to say that this cartoon reminds me of that incident with Jerry Nadler at the podium on live television?
And don’t say it was a mini-stroke or something like that. Pelosi or someone else standing there would have offered to help him or get medical attention. Instead they pretended not to notice. Because their nose knows what happened.
There was a time when “Conservatives” were fiscally conservative and would try to keep the workforce/economy healthy … but they have been radicalized, it appears.

According to the WHO, the Lambda variant was first identified in Peru in August 2020.
But it has now spread to at least 29 countries.
It is most prevalent in Peru, where it made up 81% of all cases in May and June, according to the WHO.
There have been at least 563 infections in the US, according to the GISAID global variant reporting system.
Researchers at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for instance, detected Lambda in southern Nevada sewage water, suggesting that it is spreading in the community.
Lambda carries an unusual combination of mutations with the potential to change its ability to transmit or resist vaccination, the WHO has said.
“It has rather an unusual set of mutations, compared with other variants,” said Jeff Barrett, director of the Covid-19 Genomics Initiative at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in the UK, the Financial Times reported.
In a study from the University of Chile published on July 1, which has not yet been reviewed by peers, scientists found that the variant was more contagious than the Alpha variant, first seen in the UK.
However, because this study was done in a lab, rather than in the real world, it is difficult to know how relevant to real life these results would be.
Unfortunately, a great many people are rolling these dice. If it was just the unvaccinated endangering each other, I’d shrug it off. But as it happens, the transmission of covid from one person to another is where the variants are born. So all of these unvaccinated people are petri dishes for the world. If only they were public-spirited enough to realize the danger they represent…
I read an article yesterday where the ER doctor talked about how shocked his patients were with the fact that they contracted Covid-19. Not because they had been taking precautions, but to learn that it was real.
Fox’s Tucker Carlson torched for latest ‘disturbing’ and ‘dishonest’ commentary
According to Mediate, Carusone immediately noted the seemingly reckless and irresponsible content and conspiracy theories Carlson has been perpetuating on his primetime broadcast. A very, very minor conspiracy theory that was circulating online in the fever swamps," Carusone said. “And he plucked it out of there and gave it a lot of push and that was really when things started to shift over at Fox News.”
I feel for people with immune issues that vaccines can’t help, or can’t get the vaccine for other reasons.
I’ve ceased to feel sorry for antivaxxers that die from Covid. In their case they chose not to get vaccinated, so don’t deserve my pity. Whether they didn’t get vaccinated, because of some stupid conspiracy theory, or to make Biden’s vaccination numbers look bad (you aren’t and have never owned the libs, you all have just made yourselves bigger, and bigger idiots), or whatever stupid reason they didn’t get vaccinated. Tough luck to you if you are hospitalized and survive with huge medical bills. Which given how they talk about people taking responsibility, they will pay those bills, right? Yeah, chances are the vaccinated will be the ones paying that bill in increased medical costs that we actually pay.
I don’t feel sorry for them live or die. I am mad at them for doing their part to make a bad situation worse.
Other countries are desperate for the vaccine and are incredulous that we are throwing away expired vaccines because we keep holding out hope the stupid will somehow become smart and get vaccinated. What a waste and what an embarrassment they have brought to the USA.
Alabama is floundering on vaccination — and GOP Gov. Kay Ivey seems content to fail: analysis
“Alabama is setting itself up for failure again. And Ivey is helping — by doing nothing,” he explained. “For weeks, Alabama has lagged at its usual spot, next to last, in coronavirus vaccinations. But Friday morning, CDC data showed Mississippi had slipped ahead of us, if only by a tenth of a percentage point. Alabama had fallen to dead last.”

Since the vaccine rollout, pretty much all the covid-related deaths have been people who are unvaccinated!
Think about that.

My first thought was that the dice had bullet holes, but I guess that’s a strip for another day.

All opposite faces of dice add up to 7. Not adjacent ones as this cartoon shows. It’s just like a lefty to change the facts whenever it suits them.

Just another opportunity for the Covid strain to evolve into more deadly, infectious forms.
