Hyacinths are a spring flower and have died back by the time tomatoes come on.

The Wikipedia article on hyacinths says that the bulbs are toxic, because they contain oxalic acid. Oxalic acid can also be found in spinach, beets and navy beans, so we should probably avoid them as well. Eating rhubarb, raspberries, dates and potatoes has never done me any harm, even though there’s oxalic acid in those as well, but maybe we should just avoid food, just to be on the safe side.

Love how the tomatoes are lasting on top of green stuff with cut stems. Hmm

Some years ago my sister in law introduced me to putting tomato slices in grilled cheese, adding bacon to that would be ever so nice!

Can’t we all just get along? Whoops—apparently not.

Good comic value here at least, though.

    ’Evening, Crew.
