    Bitcoin is manipulated by the wealthy. When it dips they buy and then they sell higher. Elon Musk was in the news because he “invested” $1.5Billion when it was about 44,000 and bitcoin shot up, topping at 80,000 then Musk released the news that he was selling out and bitcoin is now near 30,000. It’s a fool’s bet!

    Until crypto currency came along, currency had its value as a proxy for trading. Person A builds houses, person B builds cars, person C grows food, etc. Currency allows each person to be compensated so they can buy other peoples time and products without directly trading goods and services.

    I’m still trying to understand how anyone agreed that crypto currency has value.
