Years ago, when my husband was stationed in Germany, we were introduced to the Autobahn. Driving on that road was an exercise in terror for someone who doesn’t speed. I would occasionally end up passing someone going slower than I, and while passing, all of a sudden, a Mercedes or Porsche would come out of nowhere, with the driver flashing his lights and honking his horn. One thing I did like, though, was that the Germans were excellent at using their turn signals.

The Autobahn is in Germany and they drive on certain roads and do certain things and events.

The Autobahn is a great road, well made and well maintained. Too bad American roads can’t be even 1/8 as good.
