As commentary, it’s fair. As a new point of view, it’s nowheresville.

The warning signs have been plentiful, but business ignored them, concentrating instead on maximizing profits. Now the crows have come to roost, or something like that.

you’re a bald-faced liar. the death total in the u.s. is officially 603,000, of which 403,000 were registered before biden took office and a certain number of fatalities that occurred after he took office obviously were due to people who were already ill. but the most important thing, of course, is that the trend is easing, unlike during the term of the previous resident of the white house, who did everything he could through his constant screwups to make sure that more people died and the disease continued to rage on…

The mass of stupidity gathered here in the comments would be enough, if injected into the Russian cyber-net, to throw them back to the invasion of Kievan Rus by the mongol horde…

Anyone stupid enough to believe CNN’s account of Russian Collusion and ignoring the real collusion, and the Biden’s crimes, and Hillary Clinton and Obama’s “tell Vlad it will be easier after I am re-elected” is really too stupid to write a comment.

Do a search on small businesses hacked. The problem has been in the news for several years, but hasn’t apparently reached the general consciousness until now.

This is a great example of what happens to a problem over time if you try to ignore it…IT GETS WORSE!

Blaming this on Trump or Biden or any other president is a waste of time and plays into the hands of the perps. The reality is that there is probably not much that the government can do here. The US and Europe is very dependent on computer technology, particularly business.

And we don’t really know who’s behind this. It could be state actors. It could be organized crime. It could be some 15 year old in their room while on summer vacation.

If it’s a state actor, it’s dicey. Cyber warfare doesn’t need bullets, it needs a computer. They’re not expensive so North Korea could go toe to toe with us. I would guess that the President(current and past) have been advised that we have much more to lose than Russia, China or anyone else in a cyber war.

Organized crime is like herpes, you never really get rid of it. The Russians probably figure better them than us and as long as the targets are people they don’t like, they won’t do much to stop it.

The only real defense we have is better security. We have too many willfully ignorant people who are begging to be taken advantage of. Cyber criminals are happy to oblige.

Biden says he will ‘deliver’ a response directly to Putin over string of cyberattacks

President Joe Biden vowed Wednesday morning he “will deliver” a response to the recent string of cyberattacks against U.S. targets directly to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
