When I was working on my PhD we were assured the tenured professors who got their doctorates on the GI Bill would all be retiring soon and we’d all get full-time jobs. Ended up, over the years, working at 18 colleges and universities as adjunct – sometimes three at a time and sometimes for as long as ten years without an offer of full-time work.

Pay them in cash so there’s no annoying taxes to keep track of and pay.

I wonder if the teachers hang out at the Home Depot parking lot too?

Reminds me of the parent teacher meetings recently…only with different dialog. And visualize it more angry looking.
