Contentment was never marketable where I worked. Discontentment definitely so! We had the highest turnover rate in a professional field. Staff would change 100% every two years. (except in management- they couldn’t understand why people kept leaving).

Back in the 1900s Carnation was already monetizing contentment. Their slogan for evaporated milk was “Milk from contented cows.”
