Maybe the July Bug is a time traveler, only able to appear in July. His entire life is a succession of endless Julys. It’s always July for the July Bug. July has stopped looking like a real word now.

Now we know why he knew the date of the right footage.

He sleeps eleven months a year. It might explain how he’s lasted so long.

Dang, Jules is an immortal! So he has first hand knowledge of this event from 30 years ago. I wonder how Baba Mouse managed to get Jules his freedom? Was he working/collaborating with the possums in the “Raccoon/Opossum Conflict”? If Jules goes back to 1991, does he go even further back to the days of Winifred or even Tillie? Fascinating plot!

Come to think of it, Mag is an unusually long-lived racoon too. Could she have any parrot or turtle blood in her perhaps?

First time Jules is likeable (to me) since he came on the scene.
