Fathers: Just as important to children as their mothers. Someday society will realize that. And some day boys in adult bodies will realize that they need to be a father to their children.

Truly the best job I’ve ever had (although mine aren’t teenagers yet, so there’s still a chance I might commit a murder.)

Best, and hardest, job I’ll ever have. Wouldn’t give it up for all the tea in China.

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads. The things my father taught me have served me well as an adult, and I’ll always be thankful for having had such a great role model.

Two things – “I hope you have children just like you” is both great praise and a slap across the face, and the old phrase “My parents were really stupid when I was a teenager but they learned an awful lot in the decade after that. How’d that happen?” works all too well, all too often.

Anyone can be a “father”; we’ve recently seen that conclusively proven.

The men displayed by Mr. Breen in the above cartoon are graphically demonstrating how to be a “good” father.

Quite frankly, I would give most of my fortune to hear the reply of Donnie John if Barron (or Eric, or Don Jr.) were to ask if he would carry him on HIS shoulders, at the same age.

Lovely ’toon, Steve ♥♥ I was thinking earlier how my own Father was born to be a Dad. He was raised in an orphanage and made sure we felt loved and appreciated as human beings every day he was alive. I miss him.

Nice. I’d have preferred at least one mixed-race group, but at least one of the dads is operating an “other than normal body”.

And let us never forget the military fathers who returned handicapped or never returned.
