Yesterday we saw a pic of the space coupe. Today Diet has some exciting news for Tracy. Can’t help thinking the news has something to do with space, which would definitely get me excited.

Is this strip on the same day as the strip where Archival reverse-zapped Mysta? Or is it the day after? And is it the same day as yesterday’s? I get the feeling that this is the case. Maybe Mysta is unable to contact Honeymoon and this is several days later.

Diet has figured out how to open the pay per view sports channels for free viewing.

My biggest problem with the weekday colorist is how pale all the Caucasians are. They look fine on Sundays.

I read something interesting the other day about the phenomenon of false confessions. A group of researchers had 70% success in convincing people that they had committed a nonexistant crime. Sometimes, it took only 3 hours to manipulate someone into confessing to a fake crime. Some people even went into detail about the nonexistent act.

Imagine this: Tracy and Sam talk to their number one suspect and he or she confesses to the crime, only to discover later that it was actually perpetrated by someone else. That would make an interesting story.

I see the 2-way wrist radios are being used, with the “radio waves” emanating from them!

I remember as a kid reading this comic and Dick Tracy had this kind of watch, Mom said the author was predicting the future. Now we can all have the same kind of watch!

When Astor was introduced with Honeymoon going to movies, I thought of Archie comics. Astor could have been Reggie’s soon. Honeymoon can stand in for Betty.

I see Diet Smith still enjoys a good cigar. Probably has his ulcers in check now. When he was introduced in the pre Y2K era…a glass of milk was always nearby.

Always work going in Research and Development labs….Diet Smith Industries apparently is no different. I can hardly wait to read tomorrow for the “exciting news”. Anticipation is making me wait, it’s keeping me waiting.

I recognize that floating head, but who is the other guy in panels one and two? Complaining about coloring in this narrative mess is like complaining about your view from the bridge of the Titanic….Neil, once again has a deep, well thought out comment. Thanks dude, we wouldn’t know what we are seeing without you.

I got a question about Diet Smith: is any of his technology available to other police departments in the country? Why should only Tracy’s PD have wrist wizards, for example?

Gee, I thought in the third panel Diet Smith would tell Tracy that Mysta’s disappeared & he’s worried something happened to her. Silly me. I thought Joe & Mike would stick to one storyline for at least a week.
