For those states that are prepared to deny American citizens easy access to cast their votes, I suggest we crowd-fund Uber rides across town and back, to deliver folks to the polls – or even have school districts across the country donate a bus or two for that purpose. THEN the people, in order to form a more perfect union, can vote out the anti-American scum from their legislatures.
We had voter fights, until the Supreme Court, in it’s far-right wisdom, said we didn’t need laws to protect our rights, and threw them out. That elephant should be the SCOTUS.
I do not understand why the GOP chose the elephant as its symbol when the badger would be more appropriate. Thing is, elephants are smart, strong family values, sociable, and vegetarians; badgers are ferocious, aggressive, fearless, the ends justify the means laying others by the wayside to win. Time to call them by GOP actions: Badgers. Not Elephants.
And yet again Baggett focuses on IDs while Red states are doing plenty of other things to suppress votes such as reducing polling hours which hits working folk who cannot afford to take time off, reducing polling places in minority or heavily Democratic areas, reducing days for early voting – again hurting working folks, reducing places to get IDs, restricting mail-in voting and more.
