All work and no play makes Dan a dull boy.

I must admit….Dan is a master at photo shop! How he manages to enlarge a 10" Pickerel to look like a 3’ Muskie….I just don’t know how he does it! (Congrats Dan….just this week I found someone that is going to take me Muskie fishing in the St. John River here in northernmost Maine….Can’t wait!)

You know what they say…A bad day fishing is better than a good day working…And it looks like you had a good day fishing which is best of all.

Excellent, Dan! Even cartoonists need a break from the drawing life from time to time

Since 2008 our Ohio chapter of Muskies Inc has raised $161,00 for the feeding of young muskies at the state hatcheries, so we tend to appreciate their being in these waters and don’t kill or keep fish. We take a measurement and a photo and then release them and we do that with the health of the fish always in mind. We want to insure their survival. These fish wouldn’t exist here without the state stocking programs paid for by angler’s license fees and sales taxes on fishing gear and watercraft. They are a managed resource that benefits everyone who enjoys being outdoors engaging in healthy activities. And they really don’t taste very good.

We all need to go fishing, bungee jumping, bike ricing, camping or whatever else we love to do to burn off stress and tension. Thank you for sharing and congratulations and continued good luck. And thanks for being part of catch and release.

You could draw, drink beer, and fish at the same time.

Good job! Beautiful fish. Too bad it’s not like bass fishing in the South, where goobers win lots a green where the fish are thick, like fleas on a dog’s back.
