At any rate, maybe we’d know more if Dolt 45 hadn’t rolled up all American corona research in China.

The Rump also thought the pandemic would magically disappear.

The analysis that I saw pointed out that even scientists can fall into the trap of disregarding whatever the boy says who has cried “wolf” 10s of thousands of times already. But that was the SMALLEST part of why most experts in the field still think that the Wuhan lab had little or nothing to do with the virus.

FIRST they point out that aside from learning how to not repeat a mistake, where the virus escaped FROM is irrelevant.

SECOND they point out that CRISPR leaves very clear “markers” within any gengineered genome, and those markers are not there!

THIRD they do see information in the genome that tells them it did in fact spend time in a bat and “probably another animal” before it jumped to humans

And, somewhere around 15th they tended to “actively ignore” whatever the liar in chief said. Particularly since he had a reason to lie: He wanted to point the finger of blame elsewhere than at his administration’s epic fail. And because one of his documented patterns is to pick a target without any real justification and blame them for all kinds of untrue things.

Of course, the analysis of what Bok draws also leads us to believe that whatever he pushes is almost certainly wrong, quite possibly diametrically opposed to reality.

So what?

The difference is the Democrats want to find out it’s actual origins. Whether it was from the food market, or if it was a virus they were studying a the lab. Which we would have known last year if Trump hadn’t pulled our CDC scientists out of Wohan.

The real difference is, Republicans wanted to sell it as being created and released from the lab on purpose. Which, scientists don’t find very likely, as engineered diseases show tell tale signs of their being engineered. Of course, that’s long after the Republicans and Trump praised Xi for his transparency and honesty about Covid19.

Let’s face it if China was going to release a deadly plague on the world, chances are good they wouldn’t release it in their own country first.

Trump said so many thing, and then reversed himself. A broken clock is “right” twice a day! Doesn’t mean anything… Trup may have occasionally been right – but generally speaking it was almost certainly for the wrong reasons!

Nobody disputed the idea that it could have come from the Chinese lab. The problem was calling it the China Virus because some people for some reason started beating up Chinese Americans, as though they had caused it.

Science as in taking hydroxychloroquine and injecting bleach to fight COVFEFE-45?

Look, Trump also “thinks” that he won the election! Nobody with any brains gives a crap about what Trump “thinks”. He doesn’t “think” anything, he just says a bunch of stuff to see who likes it and who doesn’t and goes with that.

Since when are unproven opinions equal to science? Yeah, anything is possible, but science attempts to prove its theories instead of just repeating them hoping that they’ll stick. Scientists don’t stop developing and proving and revising theories because a cult figure embraces them.

With Trump’s record of lying and misrepresenting facts, it makes sense that scientists would downgrade his theories. It’s odd that any thinking person would automatically jump onto a Trump platform. At this point, if Trump turns out to be correct, it is more of a blind squirrel finding a nut episode than the results of any actual investigations he performed.

Having “solved” this issue, perhaps Bok will explain why the COVID-19 Denier-in-Chief ‘thinks’ he’ll resume being the Grifter-in-Chief when August rolls around….

Sadly, Trump brought this on himself by his actions. Even if I haven’t liked a president, I’ve always been able to agree with at least a few of the things that president has done. However, with Trump, I had to dig a lot deeper. That being said, if he is proven to have been correct about certain things, I’m not going to discount that just because it was Trump, and I think this is what Mr. Bok is saying.

Chip, the most important part was when Trump eliminated the pandemic response structure that was in place when he took office.

President Trump said the virus probably escaped from a lab in China, hydroxychloroquine is effective against covid and the disease can be easily controlled. He was right based on what we knew then, recent evidence only confirms it. Too bad the high mucky-mucks just want to enslave us and those facts stood in the way.
