The Nodding Head is right, this isn’t just ‘based on’ Thomas Nast,’ which would usually mean redrawing it in the cartoonists own style .

this is just a copy/paste of Thomas Nast’s Boss Tweed cartoon, with some colors added in photoshop and a hand and newspaper drawn in.

it’s also the exact same cartoon Gorrell used 2 years ago when GateHouse Media fired Nate Beeler, Rick McKee, and Mark Streeter
