The last BIG pandemic was about a century ago, though we did have a pretty bad polio situation about 70 or so years back. HIV was bad but the transmission mode was so stringent that it was — theoretically — easy to avoid. SARS and Ebola didn’t get loose, which was good… I’m guessing that “the next” one will happen somewhere near 2040-2050… and I’ll be long dead… Good luck y’all!
