The old “trickle down” scam has never worked.

    Didn’t work under Hoover.

    Didn’t work under Reagan.

    Didn’t work under Bush.

Didn’t work under Trump — even in a pandemic that got out of control because of Trump’s own mismanagement, the few richest elites multiplied their already-massive wealth while tens of millions of Americans lost jobs, careers, livelihoods and economic security in a new TRUMP ECONOMIC COLLAPSE.

Or maybe it has worked perfectly for its true purpose — just the way they designed it — to REDISTRIBUTE the wealth produced by middle class working people to the few richest elites who already have the most while pretending it is supposed to help working people and the middle class.

It does NOT work the way scam artists try to sell it to gullible suckers.

It works perfectly for billionaire CON men.

As I have explained to an ex friend: The facts are there, the experts have explained them both simply and cogently. If you still  don’t understand / believe them that’s not a problem with the facts.

Trickle down does not work. The Republican plan for growth does not work. Ask Kansas after the Brownback experiment. Even his own side turned on him and admitted it was not working.

Il Douche was in favor of “trickle down” because he enjoyed getting trickled on.

The fact that the stuff trickling down is yellow should have been the first clue.

Tax donations to politicians, PAC’s, and whatever other organizations that try to buy elections. If that results in more taxes on the rich, and it would, well, they should keep their money out of politics.

Let’s see… there’s something I seem to recall about “The Definition of Insanity”…

Oh yeah… Trying the same failed experiment time and time again, and expecting a different result….

Not “tax the rich”, just get them to pay their fair share like the rest of us. That’s not really asking much.

Yup. Because excessively taxing the wealthy has a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong track record of working.

Connecticut, France, New York, New Jersey, California, etc.., The dim bulbs in Massachusetts are up next to try it.

Not once has it brought in the amount of money that it has been said it would.

    But we’ll keep trying it.

And I always love how it’s ALWAYS tax more, more, more, more, more, and there are never cuts in spending, audits on government efficiency (there’s an oxymoron if I’ve ever heard one), and reducing the duplication of agencies and services.

I have no issue paying taxes, but I do ask for accountability in the utilization of those tax dollars, and not the excessive fraud, waste, and abuse I see all over the place.

Trickle down didn’t work then and won’t work ever. It’s a scam to make the richest richer while the rest of us foot the bill. There is so much power and wealth concentrated at the top that the “American Dream”, a house, two cars, maybe a boat or vacation home, on one income is dead. It now takes two just to survive. The entire tax code needs a rewrite, but the retRumplicans will never let that happen. Vote the crooks out!

What has trickled down is yellowish, warmish, and frequently smells of asparagus and Brussels spouts.

“Trickle-down” is an opiate for the rest of us. Keep us in line for the crumbs. (what crumbs?) The overly wealthy should pay a fair share.

When I think of how many dumb, struggling Kluxers vote against their financial interests every time they go to the polls, it would make laugh, but it’s bloody pathetic.

Trickle down economics didn’t work. Trickle down tax increases and inflation will happen.
