For once Rob Manfraud does something I agree with…even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.
I don’t feel sorry for pitchers who’ve been cheating and complaining about how they can’t now (“Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to Tyler Glasnow and Trevor Bauer”), but it does seem that cracking down two months into the season was a little capricious.
They should crack down on cheating catchers who frame catches, and then hold them for 5 seconds after they catch them. I see many batters strike out when a strike was never thrown, even though they were called strikes.
