It SEEMS that China & Russia are double-teaming the U.S. and that we have no way to combat it effectively. That’s a mistaken belief. The enmity and antipathy between Russia and China is far, far greater than the enmity and antipathy between the U.S. and either of them. Both Russia and China rely on one another to keep the U.S. on our back foot. The tactic takes up both Russia’s and China’s resources to the extent that those resources can’t be used effectively against one another—a dubious standoff, similar to riding a tiger. If we were to expose the grand rivalries that actually ham-string Russia and China against one another and force them to focus their efforts to overcome their TRUE rivals, the situation would change dramatically, possibly affecting the protective invisibility cloak those despotic nations provide North Korea and Belarus at the moment. We need a subtle diplomatic tactic embodying the “Let’s you and him fight” ploy.
