She would be doing her job. We have gone from the lowest level of illegal immigrants at the border before she took off office to the highest level in history. Meanwhile you nutcases want to ignore the problem that Trump fought so hard to control. . Oh, BTW, Washington D.C.voted Biden 93%, your former president who owns all of you, 5%. Keep the gravy train rolling along.
I don’t need Kamala Harris at the border any more than I needed Trump at the border. It’s nothing more than a pony show. What I NEED is for someone to go to the origin countries, identify the causes of illegal immigration, and then fix them. Harris is doing that. Kudos to her.
But, by all means, keep beating on her. It’s what Republicans do best.

She knows what is going on at the boarder. She is working hard to make things better. She is encouraging people not to make the dangerous journey. She is not trying to stop immigration. She is trying to get people to do it legally.
All the Republicans want to do is make her feel like she should go to the boarder. After which they will attack her for going as a photo shoot and trying to use the immigrants as props. VP Harris doesn’t have time for that nonsense. No doubt at some time she will visit with some of the immigrants, but right now is not the time.
Give us good policy not more photo ops and optics, Trumpie the Clown went to the Border to praise its big ( biggly) wall that most illegal immigrants went through with out much fuss , what a Boondoggle!
Her trip was a total disaster. Shows why she was the first to bow out of the democratic primaries before the first votes were cast in Iowa. Even the democrats realized she is in over her head. “I haven’t been to Europe either”. What a lightweight!
I’m as sure as you are that if VP Harris made a visit (e.g., Safari Cruz & numerous other showboating Republicans) to some place on the 2,000 mile US-Mexico border all criticism would cease.
The GOP Leadershit SPECIALIZES in smoke & mirrors, i.e., THEY KNOW that treating symptoms does NOTHING to cure a disease, but, since curing the disease requires the GOP Leadershit to admit that they are FUNDAMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE for the disease, they misdirect gullible, witless, and ignorant onlookers to EFFECTS rather than CAUSES.
Oh, the GOP thinks they have found their talking point haven’t they? And as always it’s Republican cartoonists job to amplify it. Perhaps addressing the root cause of why people are coming to the border is more important than a border photo op?
Harris is doing a far better job in Guatemala where the leadership there is open to change and like Biden wanting to improve the life of his populace. Going to our southern border would only be a photo op, though it might encourage the border patrol there. But, real change must be done back at the source where the possible immigrants are, not where they will one day go to. We can encourage change in the CA countries and allow their people to remain at home and not risk further hardship in a wasteful pilgrimage to our border.

But President Biden and VP Harris are going to resolve these complex issues in 4 months? Give me a break.
