National Iced Tea Day. Not a fan of iced tea. I’ll have lemonade instead.
National Ballpoint Pen Day. I’m still rewriting & editing parts of my book. I write it all out in longhand with my trusty ballpoint pen while I’m sitting outside in my lawn swing. Then in the evening, I work it into my book. I had what I thought was a final draft of my book, but found a lot of spots that needed “tweaking”. I’ve been tweaking a lot this past week.
National Egg Roll Day. I just got some donuts yesterday. I’m going to have a donut instead.
National Herbs and Spices Day. I don’t do herbs and spices.
National Black Cow Day. “National Black Cow Day, on June 10th each year recognizes an ice cream float beverage also known as a Root Beer Float. That’s right, the beverage made with root beer and vanilla ice cream was also called a Black Cow. It was originally made with vanilla ice cream but sometimes it’s made with chocolate ice cream or even plain cola flavor.” I always thought root beer and ice cream was a root beer float and Coke or Pepsi (or other cola) with ice cream was a Black Cow.
For me, today will also be Play In The Dirt Day. Well, I won’t exactly be playing. I have flowers I need to finish planting and weeds in my garden to finish yanking and I’m going to have my hands in dirt a lot today. And loving it!
And now Annie’s worrying begins. There are a lot of cats out there that look like Chesney. I wonder if they would know which one is their poppa or their momma.
She arrived at 14:30 (BST). and has had a nose about, a bit to eat, and is currently sitting outside in her run. It’s a bit warm and humid here today but she’s in the shade and there’s a bit of a breeze for her.

Annie’s probably thinking “Oh, dear, what now?” On another note, saw four rabbits, a sparrow, and two robins while out walking today.
