Big Nate. Double Trouble – Part 2, Chapter 4
The worse has happened. Jenny found out I have a crush on Coco too.
“I can’t believe, you went on a date with her! I thought, you liked ME!”, she yelled.
“But Jenny…!”, I tried to explain.
“No buts! You hurt me, like Artur did one time!”, she stormed away.
“Jenny, wait!”
“It’s not worth it, Nate”, Teddy stopped me. “She won’t listen to you”.
Rest of day sucked. I didn’t want to do anything, just to sit on the hall, even though it was finally snowing. I just thought about Jenny’s anger.
Later, I met Teddy again, along with Chad and Dee Dee.
“Hey Nate! Wanna go with us?”, Chad asked.
“We’re gonna make a huge snowball fight!”, Dee Dee interpolated.
“No, thanks”, I replied. “I’m not in mood”.
“What happened?”, Dee Dee continued.
“Jenny is mad at him, because he has a crush on Coco too”, Teddy explained.
“Hold up”, Chad said. “Francis has also a crush on Coco!”
“But he dates Sheila!”, Dee Dee was confused.
Oh, my God. But he dates Sheila!
“Listen, guys, we have to save their relationship!”, I exclaimed.
“How?”
“We’re gonna persuade Francis, to stop with that crush on Coco. Just to be sure, he’s gonna stay away from her, I’ll take her on that winter dance next week!”
“What about Jenny?”
“She’ll go with Artur, if he’s still interested in her”.
The head attachment, crafted with two-part epoxy putty (or the like…) around a chicken wire “head” shape, with features epoxied in place, makes the gloopy smile….somewhat permanent…….regardless of the present mood of the wearer……..
