Those can be fun but frustrating at times because it’ll be like I know I put the right letters and numbers and get told it’s not right.

Occasionally I get one that I can’t discern what one of the characters is allegedly representing.

Those things work very badly for those of us with poor eyesight…

From “To err is human …” to “To err proves you are human.”

These days they has wordless captchas.

Actually that’s the response we should get when we come across a captcha lol

I sympathize with this one….I don’t know how many times I stare at the characters, they rarely look like the alphabet.

At the point where you distort, invert, flip, draw lines through, and rotate letters sufficiently to confuse any robot you have also managed to confuse any human. But a lot of them are click bait and want you to keep guessing as they garner more income from presenting new ads to you.

The Robots have always blamed us humans, for their errs.

Not only did it know Brewster was human…it knew Brewster was Brewster.

I can never figure those dumb things out.

I saw an interesting article about how Google and others use those things to help decipher bad scans. When they have scanned old books, documents, etc. and have sections their own machines and AI can’t read, they present the images to millions of people in captchas and use the most frequent replies as the likely correct reading.

Next: How many stoplights do you see? How many busses? How many crosswalks?

I wind click for the next one ’til I find one I can read.

As a matter of fact, the pattern of your mistakes indicates that you are Brewster Rocket!
