I loved summer school. The teachers don’t want to be there either, so the expectation and competition are low, yet you cast an appearance of hard work.
I am so old that I remember summer school could also be used to get ahead. I learned two musical instruments during middle school and got ahead in math and Spanish in high school. Good times.
