Nobody runs out of inventory at those because most of the books are garbage.
My wife misses the semi-annual library book sales. There should be a big one this Fall.
Location.. location, she obviously has a better location and if the goal is to pass on books.. she is doing her part.
Half Price Books, especially the clearance aisle.
Church sales, rummage sales, swap meets, estate sales, jumble sales (or is that just Britain?).
Dollar Tree, may the TLS have mercy on my soul.
Freecycle.
Craigslist.
Nextdoor.
Facebook Marketplace.
Sources are everywhere if you know where to look (and have a car).

Last month, I left an early edition Dickens book at our neighbourhood Take0ne/Leaveone, and its still there.
