A double bonus. She can still give him a hard time when he forgets their real anniversary.

Funny and sexist. My recently deceased wife and I were married for 34 years, she was “never” sure of the date( she at least knew the month) or how long. I still loved her, actually I loved her more each and every day.I know that it sounds sappy but it was true. Now I miss her more and more each day.

Every day is an anniversary of SOMETHING. (6 years, 2 months and 3 days since….)

It’s the thought that counts and it may even be for an incident the wife has forgotten like the first kiss, first weekend together etc……

In 2011 my wife of 30 years and I divorced. In 2012 we remarried. We got remarried on the same date as the first one so we wouldn’t have to remember another anniversary.

He thinks it’s their anniversary but there’s no card and no dinner date?

Reminds me of I Love Lucy, where Lucy once admitted to Ethel: “Anytime there’s a good present around, I tell Ricky it’s our anniversary.”
