so he invented a new language???I do wake up at night with a new story idea that I take notes on my phone but I am still trying to make SENSE AT LEAST!

Next time that happens, Jon, try turning the light on before you start typing.

Bad execution of a good idea…..

I use to do the same thing with a pad and pen next to my bed. Couldn’t read it in the morning.

I’m confuzzled

That reminds me of that one Kim Possible episode (the one where Kim lost her memory), where Dr. Drakken tried to write down a good idea for an evil plan, but just wrote down gibberish instead.

I think it’s already been made.

A couple of days ago my first thought when I woke up was, “We start the fishing at 8 a.m.” I have no idea where that came from. In real life I’m happy to wish any fisherman good luck, but I don’t go fishing myself.

I remember a interview with a song writer/musician where he decided to leave a notepad by the bed cause he had lots of great ideas in middle of night and would forget them in the morning. Basically he got the same result as Jon did and likely reason when you are half asleep you’ll get all sorts of random responses because the critical thinking part of the brain isn’t active.

Brilliant idea!

It was an idea for a device that allows you to type coherently while half asleep.

Jon confuses easily.

Wonder if Jon is going to share that on Instagram.

Humor in a similar vein: A long time ago, Dave Berg, in one of his Lighter Side strips for Mad magazine, did this gag. The guy wakes in the middle of the night, thrilled that the solution to his knotty business problem has come to him in his sleep, and writes down his idea. Then in the morning he discovers he’s written nothing but gibberish.

Dunno. All I know is that Jon’s mind is mush in the middle of the night.
