I have a standard rant about the lack of convergence devices. The tech is available for all of us to simply have a phone size device and docks which allow connecting to screens, keyboards, etc. that covers all of our digital wants. Why should I need to have a laptop and a phone? The phone should be enough, and when I need to work for extended period a docking station with appropriate connections and peripherals should be fine. It would be “lower carbon footprint” for environmentalists, it would represent better security because you could focus on the single point of failure and not across devices for the cyber security folks, it would be net cheaper for the consumer since the peripherals are commodity, it would allow for optimization by the consumer which should support the tech crowd. It is just annoying that it doesn’t really exist yet. Of course, if you are a hard core user that needs more power than is available in a phone scale chip – box computers would exist for you much as they do today as upgrades from the typical laptop or tablet.

Scott’s first-panel answers are as unhelpful as his boss’s. “You screwed up, idiot.” “What did I do?” “You screwed up.” “But how?” “By being an idiot. Sheesh, don’t you ever listen?”
