I think both sides could wear the terrorism hat on this one.

If Al is trying to say that militaristic crackdowns (ie: the tank poking through the wall) breeds an armed response that devolves into terrorism on both sides then I wholeheartedly agree.

If this is just another right-wing attack on the main steam media (which includes Fox since it’s one of the biggest cable news organizations), then no.

In Al’s universe the actual press are the terrorists and reporting unbiased facts are their weapons of mass instruction.

You would think Palestinians would be comfortable with ethnic cleansing by now. Israel’s courts paved the way for the evictions of six Palestinian families from a neighborhood in East Jerusalem called Sheikh Jarrah, and for Jewish families to move into those homes, so why all the violence?

Al seems to be saying that the Associated Press were harboring Hamas terrorists in their building, which Israel bombed into rubble. I say to Al; Just say no to drugs and alternative reality isn’t real.

That’s a funny analogy to choose. Capitaine Louis Renaut in Casablanca (I assume that’s him), was actually opposing the German occupiers, siding with defenders of freedom. So, is Al comparing Israelis with the Nazis?

Is Al Goodwyn trying to say that AP’s reporting supported Hamas? We know Fox and OANN supported the MAGA terrorists in this nation but, then, they’re not legitimate news organizations.

“Play it again, Sam”. We’ll always have Gaza as “Time Goes By” . . . . but not a Nobel Peace Prize for anyone singing the same old song. . . .

Lauren Boebert Asks People What Their Favorite Bible Verse Is. It Doesn’t Go Well.

But let’s play along with Boebert. Here are some of the verses people alluded to. Let’s start with the one welcoming immigrants.

Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

The Bible is particularly tough on liars

Proverbs 10:18 “Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool.”

Proverbs 25:18 “A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.”

Exodus 20:16 (9th comandment) “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.”

    Also religious hypocrites

Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others.”

Matthew 7:3 “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?”

    The sanctimonious

Luke 6:37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

    And the stupid

Romans 1:22 “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”

The Bible is for a welfare state.

Leviticus 25:35 ”If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you.”

But it is not in favor of bearing arms.

Matthew 26:52 “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword.”

The Bible is not a fan of money-grubbing or political contributions

Proverbs 15:27 “Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, but he who hates bribes will live.”

Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils.”

It is against idolatry (def: extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or som

Terrorists is no reason to bomb civilian homes. Drones and other tactics would be far better. The only reason to use attacks such as Israel is using is to create an enemy, not get rid of one. By doing so, further justifies their stealing other people’s homes. If everyone in Palestine decided to give up Islam and turned in everyone involved with Hamas, Israel would find another excuse. It’s not a religious war, it’s a land grab.

I do believe that Ol’ Al is blaming the AP for harboring terrorists? Or maybe he’s just pointing out that AP reporters should have been aware of the terrorism going on right there in the same building. Just a few points to think about (Not ol’ Al’s best thing):

1: The building also had offices of Aljazeera

2: When was the last time YOU knew what was going on in your office (assuming you work in an office) much less the offices on some other floor in some other suite in your building?

3: Some Israel spokes-mouth said they knew of terrorists in that building. I trust such people less than I trust they guy selling mattresses on the TV.

4: Since when is blowing up buildings, even when provoked, NOT an act of terrorism?

5: And that “warning” that some in the building were given: THAT’S flat out terrifying: Is it true? Is it true but they’re lying about when? If so, then will it be earlier or later? And what about the NEXT bomb: Will they be waiting for rescue persons to arrive before they detonate another one there?
