Ten of Spades goes for the barely disguised salty language! (I think Abner is in big trouble now!)

Looks like Kadaver is about to become one. Ten will do the deed then escape leaving poor sad little Rikki weeping over …….. the Kadaver, giving Sam enough time to make an arrest.

Ten kills Abner, leading Rikki to war on the Apparatus?

Abner and Rikki escape, and the Apparatus tries to hunt them down?

Actually Tracy jumped in front if Charlie to save his life. Either way, Kadaver’s days as a hitman are over.

Date him? Darn him? Drat him? Duck him?

Oh these possibilities!

Tracy’s got superhuman pain tolerance levels….

It remains to be seen how bad Tracy is hurt, tomorrow should tell us all I think!

Any minute now, Tracy will sing a disco classic by Gloria Gaynor.

The projectile was designed to go through an unprotected throat, not a jacket with perhaps protective lining too.And always possible Rikki gets killed by mistake, too…… Abner be realllllly upset, then.

Either that mask really restricts eyesight, or that guy really didn’t see that the arrow went for Charlie and Dick just tackled him down and took it in the shoulder.

Either way, he’s blind.

Why do villains have to be portrayed as being so stupid as 10? Ace specifically stated that Charlie was guarded by Tracy. Tracy gets hit while protecting Charlie. WHAT DID THEY EXPECT? Give the man the job and let him DO THE JOB! Stay out of the way and keep your mouth shut until the job is finished. If Tracy dies in the middle of the job, win-win. Stupid writers.

And we still have no idea why Ten is there in the first place. He was shown surprised by Abner’s presence at the theater. So, if Ten knew Charlie was at the theater (because the Apparatus has intel that seems to come out of the DA’s office) he would know Abner was there for the contract. And if Ten has some other mission (best carried out in costume) what in the H-bell is it?

Well, shuckiedarnit!

OR, she gets aced and Kadaver turns avenger, taking down the whole operation before dying.

Meanwhile, Vitamin is (forgotten) on stage…

The Ten thinks, “It’s cramp time for you, Abner!”

Ten is wrong about Abner wanting Tracy. Charlie is the one testifying about the mob!Abner missed again!

Now Abner is going to find out firsthand what it’s like to have a hit out on him. He may not have to worry about a slow death.

1-DT: I finally got that Arrow shirt I’ve always wanted! Come closer….lemme whisper you a secret… Arrow shirts have detachable collars …ugh…

2-SAM: I SEE THE DASTARDLY, DESPICABLE, DIABOLICAL, DEMENTED fiend who shot you, Tracy. BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM! Oh. That wasn’t him. SORRY MR. MAYOR!

3-TEN: FOOLS! They’ve forced me to take this pistol from the only place in this sleek, skintight outfit that I can carry it without creating an unsightly bulge AND NOW I LOOK LIKE A KEN DOLL IN A DOWNHILL SKIER’S OUTFIT! They will die slowly for this insult to my manhood! Ummm…where’d they go?

10 is totally off track here

From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Dick Tracy, a comic strip that once depicted a maniac in a gimp suit being eaten alive by rats [3/7/11], can now no longer bring itself to print the word “damn.” Sad!

(said before) Ten’s jump to conclusions is about the most action this story has had!

Yeah, saw this coming. But what’s gonna happen? Maybe Abner will go after the card guys! (that would be fun, watching him knock off all 52, one by one!)

Boy that Ten of Spades sure has a potty mouth, don’t he? Goldarnit!

It’s discovered that the arrow was poisoned, and Tracy dies.

10 kills Abner, he dies.

Then it becomes a quest for one of Ra’s al Ghul’s Lazarus Pits, where both get revived (cameo by Bruce Wayne, of course).

I’d say Abner’s in deep Dipidee Doo.

Frankly my dear I don’t give a D….. naw, that wouldn’t have worked for Gable in GWTW. But the guys think politically correct. Remember a few years back, an old old character Spike Dyke, became Spike Smith. Dicko, BTW, knowing Ab would use a bow and arrow, wore a Dart Proof Kevlar coat. Also, why doesn’t anyone notice both an ugly mug in a cape and another dude dressed head to toe in black wearing a full faced mask? I mean there must be a theater crew somewhere.

Dick’s used to having an arrow pointing at him, but usually it’s pointing at his wrist radio or similar gadget.

Yes Kadaver is is big trouble.

Sam has pulled his piece, but is not likely to fire except in clear self-defense: you don’t open fire on a perp in a theater more or less full of people if it can be avoided!

Dick winces but keeps Charlie down (panel 1); Sam spots and identifies the perp (panel 2); Ten of Spades (drat him!) pulls a gun out of nowhere in his skintight bodysuit and seems to be on the verge of trying to shoot Kadaver for “going after Tracy,” which is a false assumption, but, hey, who cares? There is plenty of action today, Action Fans!

Meanwhile in the audience, among at least ten couples are heard the words, Pay up…

Technically, that’s one way the DT old strips censored cursing.
