Surprised Petey would actually lounge on a cauliflower print sofa!

I didn’t have a soccer league in town growing up (70s) so I never learned the rules. Pro soccer/football seems to me to be a lot of guys running around; I miss the nuances. And then I watch the kids at the park on weekends. No nuances there to worry about!

What I remember most about soccer was the mud; the ever-present mud.

Too bad that your team lost, Petey. Word of advise: Never run from the ball when it come to you. Just kick it! I don’t know about soccer when I was Petey’s age (1980s). The ball is harmless.

But, Peter, It was an intense practice for Petey! Show some compassion for your son….
