Sometimes just a short walk through the greenery and hearing the birds gives a good return. For me a trip to the plant sellers was the best part of the early days out, except I was sorry I couldn’t take one of everything.
My wife is having a co-worker and his SO over for dinner Thursday, as it’s been two weeks since her second Moderna shot. Oh well, the isolation was nice.
Since last summer, we’ve been having things ease up every few weeks. For most people in my area, life has been pretty much normal all along. Sure some businesses were closed for a while but they’re all open now. The mask mandate is gone and restaurants are back at full capacity. Very large gatherings – those over 5,000 – still have some restrictions but when you live near a town of only about 4,000, those restrictions are moot.
It’s been so long, Flora and Gunther, hasn’t it? Flora’s dress is too pretty for a dumpster dive. Maybe you could terrorize the Ranger’s office until he tosses you some snacks?

First…mask up. Covid carries, that won’t get their shots and/or wear a mask, are still out there, so YOU HAVE TO PROTECT YOURSELF.
